Are Hip Hop fans the new A&R's?...
Im not that good at writing blogs or none of that, I kinda find em really gay but I figured why not kill time and write one about something that's kinda bothering me right now, you know? Well my reason for asking "Are Hip-Hop fans the new A&R's?" is for the simple fact that today I encountered something I never thought I would EVER encounter as a "up and coming artist". Today was a day that I was most proud of due to the fact that I feel I recorded a good piece of material with my "FuckURap:The Mixtape!". Ill be the first to tell you, the title is NOT original, but it does express my style as far as how I come with my music and who I am aiming to market my music to. To get on with the story, a man on the social website Twitter decided to ask me.."FuckURap? Is this what idiots have to offer?" Well I dont take to negative comments about my music to heart since its only music I am just simply trying to deliver a product that First and Foremost, I believe in. As I tend to go on about my business and promote on twitter he proceeded to attack my character personally as far as telling me Im a garbage act, THIS mind you, without even listening to my music! As I proceeded to give em a bit of my attention I told him to listen to my music, he claims he listens and proceeds to tell me I am a disgrace to Hip-Hop because I promote misoginy and degrade women and bcuz I don't cater to kids as well, which he ended that tirade with GO RAKIM! ....That made me laugh bcuz when I've studied Hip Hop over the years NOT ONCE did I ever see the "Greats" such as KANE, KOOL G., OR EVEN RAKIM HIMSELF, ever cater their music to kids!! Needless to say this got me thinking.....Am I really wrong for putting out a product without really thinking of demographics and who it WOULD affect, or was this guy just a treehugging hippie who was just so self righteous on his own beliefs that he felt personally attacking my character over my music was his idea of giving me advice? Then I thought about it....I guess you REALLY cannot please everyone in this planet and ppl arent going to like what you give sometimes, but to attack a man's personal character because he feels he's mightier than thou and "trying to save hip hop"...is NOT cool in my book. So this goes out for everyone IF you ever get to hear my skills on beats and mic, I dont do music for 10 year olds, I do music for hardcore motherfuckers who wanna hear skill on the mic, In the words of Christopher Rios..."I am the NICEST! Hardcore, commercial, what you wanna do you wanna wild out you wanna dance...I got it all locked down baby!" Let it be known Im not gonna plz everyone in this world with my music, some may think im a great rapper/mc, most may think Im the biggest piece of garbage rapper to ever come across and thats fine with me, but DO NOT EVER, EVER! Attack a man's character over music, especially if you never met the man! because that makes you nothing more than a pacifist out of touch with reality coward and a moron.....So I will end this with this..Hate is love to me, Im used to disappointments and trials, but Im also used to being victorious as the bad guy, so either way noone can touch me, I take everything in stride, NOONE can break me, especially over some music!

Big O &Optimus Grime (SoundTeckz) "Teckzecution & Terror EP"
So I am very excited to say that I might collab with one half of the production duo The Soundteckz's own Optimus Grime. I gave him an idea of a concept EP type deal where he raps over 5 of my beats and I rap over 5 of his beats and we close out the album with a half/half beat from each one of us spitting over each other's beat respectively! If this goes thru (which I know it will) I'm bound to aim to make this EP sound CLASSIC! with nothing but the hungriest and grimiest of raps people this side of the city of Cleveland,Ohio will ever hear. Right now its just an idea, a concept, as previously stated, that I am excited about! So be on the lookout....."Teckzecution & Terror" will be coming soon! So as The SoundTeckz would say....."Get Hip Or Get Hit!!!!" ...
